   The Position:
   The selected individual will perform a wide variety of work related to the day-to-day operations and duties associated with the safety, operation, maintenance, and security of the Alliance Municipal Airport.  Provides Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) and emergency first response services for the airport and assists in maintaining the buildings and 400,000 square yards of runway, taxiway aprons and grounds.
    
   Location and Hours 
   This full-time position is located at the Alliance Municipal Airport and may include on-call and weekend hours.
    
   About the Position Type
   This position is full-time and benefit-earning including medical, dental, vision and life insurance as well as vacation and sick leave accrual, and participation in a matching retirement plan. Full-time employees receive 8 paid holidays per year, plus 3 floating holidays.
    
    In this Position, you Will:
   Repair cracks, seal and patch concrete, paint, mow, perform snow removal and general mechanical repairs.
   Maintain buildings including repairs, fixtures, heating, ventilation, a.c., plumbing and other operations.
   Work in conjunction with Fire, Police and FAA to respond during aircraft emergencies or other incidents.
    Need to Have
   Graduation from high school or GED with course work in the building and industrial trades.
   One year related experience and/or training in facility maintenance, repair, or small to heavy equipment preferred.
    
   Special Requirements
     Valid State Driver’s license or ability to obtain within thirty (30) days of hire; ability to pass background checks; ability to complete training in firearm safety, Wildlife Management, Emergency Plan, Snow and Ice Control Plan, and all training as required by FAA regulations.
