Soldiers and family members gathered for the Australian New Zealand Army Corps ( ANZAC ) Day Dawn Service Sunday morning . The ceremony marks the 106th Anniversary of the storming of the Gallipoli peninsula by the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps in the Dardanelles campaign , World War I , during the early hours of April 25 , 1915 . Fort Benning hosted an Australia and New Zealand Army Corps ( ANZAC ) Day ceremony , Friday , April 25 , at the National Infantry Museum .
