Finance Clerk
   Pay Rate: $22.64 - $27.27 per hour
    
   The City of Marysville is now hiring a Finance Clerk. This individual will support the Senior Finance Clerk and Assistant Finance Director in helping to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
   Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
   Weekly processing of all vendor invoices for payment.
   Review all vendor invoices for accuracy and input the data into MUNIS Financials system.
   Prepare and distribute general checks such as utility refunds, witness fees, uniform allowances, etc.
   Organize and maintain all vendor files.
    
   Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:
   Book accounts receivables into accounting software in a timely manner.
   Monitor bank accounts for additional revenue received through wires.
   Assist with monthly bank reconciliation.
   Deposit cash revenue and send electronic check files daily.
    
   Payroll Responsibilities:
   Provide backup support with Payroll processes.
   Biweekly reviews of time sheets for accuracy and approval.
   Import payroll information into the payroll system and process the necessary payroll reports to verify accuracy.
   Prepare quarterly unemployment tax reports.
   Prepare year-end payroll reports.
    
   Applicants must be a high school graduate with a valid Ohio Driver's license. An Associate’s degree in a financial field is preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance is a plus. Must have computer skills and a knowledge of basic software packages (Google/Gmail, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Some experience in Business or Finance is highly preferred.
