☷FBI Deputy Director Delivers Keynote Address at the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives Conference

This weekend , FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate delivered the keynote address and participated in a panel discussion at the 46th annual training conference of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives ( NOBLE ) in Orlando , Florida . The theme of this year’s conference was “Driving Change: Redefining Law Enforcement and Public Safety Across America . ”In his remarks , Deputy Director Abbate addressed some of the biggest threats facing the country , including active shooter incidents and domestic violent extremism , and also emphasized the invaluable benefits of the FBI’s partnerships . The threats we address on behalf of our country , we face head on , in partnership with many organizations , mental health service providers , and government and law enforcement agencies , ” said Deputy Director Abbate . “And it’s those partnerships and our public interactions that help prevent the worst things from happening . The Deputy Director’s keynote address was followed by a panel discussion titled “Addressing a Challenging Year of Crime and Violence II” where participants discussed the causes and solutions of the rise violent crime in 2020 and 2021 .
