BASIC FUNCTION:
The Engineering Technician classification series is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical functions in support the department’s projects and programs. Specific duties may vary within the same classification to best meet the departments business needs and the skills of the employee. Progression in the series is determined through a combination of experience, skills acquisition, demonstrated proficiency, and overall work performance.
