EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DEPUTY DIRECTOR:
The Deputy Director of Emergency Management assists in organizing and directing the operations of the Emergency Management and Emergency Communications Departments. The Deputy Director will assume the Directors responsibilities in the Directors absence.
a Bachelor's degree in emergency management, leadership, public administration or like degree and two (3) years' full-time experience in emergency management OR eight (8) years of full-time experience in emergency management or closely related Public Safety field. All candidates must have successfully completed Incident Command System (ICS) ICS 100, ICS 200, IS 700 and IS 800 courses. Successful candidates must complete Incident Command System (ICS) ICS 300 and ICS 400 within one year of hire; and complete the Emergency Management Institute (EMI) Professional Development Series of courses (IS 120, IS 230, IS 235, IS 240, IS 241, IS 242 and IS 244) within two (2) years of hire. Candidates for employment must successfully pass a criminal investigation background.
A valid driver's license is required.
$4,457 per month.
