    ( June 9 , 2022 ) — Discover downtown Sparks’ Victorian Square through two scavenger hunts during the June Sparks Art Walk , Thursday , June 16 , 2022 , from 4 – 9 p . m . Designed by Sierra Arts Foundation , participants in the first scavenger hunt will learn about downtown Victorian Square as they move about the artwork , local landmarks and partnering businesses . All participants receive a free gift and prizes will be awarded . Teams can keep the challenge and fun going while learning about the history of Sparks at the Heritage Museum by participating in a second scavenger hunt inside the museum .  
   The Sparks Art Walk artwork can be seen with docent - led art tours at 5 , 6 , and 7 p . m . The tour consists of six sculptures and one mural and begins in Lillard Park , next to the Depot Gallery . The tour is six blocks long and lasts about 45 minutes .
   Other activities include award - winning movie shorts presented in the Glendale Schoolhouse hosted by 
   Cordillera International Film Festival
    , and a new artist pop - up show in the Tony Armstrong Amphitheater . This month’s showing features award - winning Comedy & Adventure short films from around the world .
   After the Art Walk , stay and enjoy the sounds of local reggae band , Pipedown , on the Great Basin Stage from 6:30 - 8:30 p . m . Chef Sparky hosts cooking demonstrations at Chuy’s Mexican Kitchen . Food trucks and more local vendors round out the evening . Pick up a map with a schedule and register for the scavenger hunts at Lillard Park .  
   The Sparks Art Walk collection comes with a QR code that visitors can scan to learn more from the artists themselves . The self - guided art tour also includes exhibits at the 
   Depot Gallery
    , the 
   Sparks Heritage Museum
    , and various restaurants and bars taking part in the 
   Sierra Arts Galleries On VIC
    program .
