     Deputy Recorder Supervisor
    
   Responsibilities:
   The Deputy Recorder 2 is responsible to receive, review and proof, record and index legal documents including mortgages, deeds, easements, land titles, military records; federal tax liens, and other documents per the Ohio Revised Code. Assist customers with locating legal documents and leases; refer customers to appropriate departments when necessary. Accurately record and index documents to ensure ease of future retrieval; inspect and verify documents being received for accuracy and legibility in accordance with Ohio Revised Code standards and regulations. Receive cash payments for process filing fees and transactions; post receipts; count and balance checks and money daily; provide technical assistance to other personnel with regards to documents; prepare and maintain a variety of reports and directed. Perform general office duties as needed including; typing, indexing, processing payments, answering phones and directing calls, and copying documents.
   Qualifications:
   High School Diploma or G.E.D., and a minimum of one (1) year of office experience and/or any combination of education or experience which provides the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities.
   This is a bargaining unit position.
