The Village of Grafton Department of Public Works is excited to accept applications for the position of Crewperson. The Department of Public Works has a crew of 12 led by a Foreman and Superintendent. This is a newly added additional position to the department to help keep up with the demands of our growing Village.
This Crewperson will perform a variety of maintenance work and operate a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of Village streets, buildings, trees, parks, equipment, and storm drainage facilities. Ideal applicants would possess a CDL license with Class A & B endorsements. Please review the job description for a complete overview of the position and requirements.
The Village of Grafton offers a full benefits package including health insurance and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System. Starting wages are $23.55/hour - $27.70/hour depending upon qualifications. The Village of Grafton has an incentive program for employees interested in volunteering for the Fire Department but does not require participation. The final candidate should anticipate a background check and pass a physical exam and drug test.
