   The Air Force has awarded contracts to several companies for human performance services , supporting various customers and locations across the Air Force and Department of Defense . The combined contract is worth $988 million and is expected to be completed by March 2024 . The Army has also awarded contracts for vital torso protection plates , with a total value of $367 million . Additionally , there have been modifications to a contract for the Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node , worth $178 million . Lastly , a firm has been awarded a contract worth $9 . 2 million for the construction of the Wood River Sewer separation project in Illinois . In Fiscal 2023 , the U . S . Army Corps of Engineers in St . Louis , Missouri awarded contracts to several companies for civil construction funds totaling $9 , 208 , 197 . These contracts are for the repair , maintenance , and alteration of U . S . government waterborne vessels and surface ships in Hawaii . The contracts have a combined estimated value of $104 , 763 , 392 . Each awardee received a minimum contract guarantee of $2 , 500 using fiscal 2024 operations and maintenance funding . If all options are exercised , the total value of the contracts could reach $226 , 212 , 877 . The work is expected to be completed by March 2029 , with the possibility of continuing until March 2034 . The contracts were competitively procured through the System for Award Management website , with eight offers received . Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility in Pearl Harbor , Hawaii is overseeing the contracting activity . In another development , Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Moorestown , New Jersey received a modification to a previously awarded contract worth $34 , 142 , 015 . This contract is for the operation and maintenance of AEGIS development and test sites , including the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site , SPY - 1A Test Facility , and Naval Systems Computing Center . The contract involves Foreign Military Sales to multiple countries . The work is expected to be completed by January 2025 . The funding for Foreign Military Sales ( FMS ) from various countries , such as Japan , Australia , Korea , Norway , and Spain , will be used for shipbuilding , research , and maintenance . The total amount of funding is $6 , 696 , 730 , with different percentages allocated to each country . Additionally , J & J and ALMS Mission Support Solutions LLC have been awarded a contract worth $30 , 128 , 837 for base operations support services in Pensacola , Florida . Intellect Solutions LLC has also received a task order worth $15 , 612 , 466 for Information Technology services and networks at the U . S . Naval Research Laboratory in Washington , D . C . Lastly , Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution has been awarded a contract worth $13 , 583 , 918 for the development and advancement of autonomous underwater vehicle sensors and capabilities . We ' re gonna be working on making vehicles tougher , faster , and better at driving themselves in all kinds of conditions . We ' ll be trying out new vehicle designs and testing out how well they work together autonomously . This project will help us come up with new ways to use unmanned vehicles on land and underwater . The contract is worth over $13 million and will last for 3 years , with the option to extend for another 2 years . The work will be done in Massachusetts . Textron Systems Corp . in Maryland got a $7 . 9 million contract to keep providing intelligence and surveillance services using unmanned aircraft for the Navy . And SecuriGence LLC in Virginia got a $40 . 8 million contract to provide tech support services for multiple networks for DARPA . The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency in Arlington , Virginia is in charge of the contract . The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded Boeing Distribution Services Defense , also known as Boeing , a contract to provide logistics and supply chain management support at Tobyhanna Army Depot in Pennsylvania . The contract is estimated to be worth $11 , 449 , 675 and will last for five years with the possibility of two one - year extensions . The work will be performed in Pennsylvania and is funded by defense working capital funds . The Defense Health Agency has awarded Lawelawe Technology Services LLC a contract to provide information technology and telecommunication services for the Defense Health Agency Joint Operational Medicine Information System program . The contract is worth $10 , 092 , 718 and will be performed primarily at Fort Sam Houston in Texas . The contract was awarded through the Small Business Administration 8 ( a ) program .
