The City of Overland, Missouri is seeking motivated professionals for the position of Part-Time Community Center Front Desk Attendant. Candidates should possess a thorough knowledge of customer service, and office procedures. Qualified candidates will have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred candidates will have one year part time experience in a recreational setting and certification in First Aid and CPR.
Under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Director and the Recreational Specialist, this position will perform general customer service, daily operations of the front desk, and cash handling. Responsibilities may include assisting with the servicing of the general public at the front desk in an efficient and courteous manner with regard to registration for programs and membership sales, facility usage, receiving and recording cash and charge payments, answering the telephone, issuing equipment and other related assignments. Work may involve weekday afternoons,
weekday evenings,
weekends and holiday shifts. Compensation: DOQ/E
