   The Clearmont Pedestrian Bridge will be closed starting Monday , January 8 , and will reopen upon the completion of the new bridge in May or June . The new bridge will be twice as long as the old bridge , which was built in the 1980s . It will also be wider to accommodate cyclists pulling trailers and create better shared space for both cyclists and pedestrians . To stay updated on this project , please visit our web page
