EAST LANSING , Mich . — The City of East Lansing will be hosting a Rental Restriction Overlay ( RRO ) District informational meeting on Wednesday , Jan . 17 at 6 p . m . at the Hannah Community Center .
   Staff from the Planning Department , Office of the City Manager , and the City Attorney will present details on RROs , covering their definition , historical usage within the city , and the dates of adoption . The session will also cover the procedural aspects of establishing an Overlay in compliance with East Lansing’s zoning ordinance .
   Additionally , the meeting will touch upon the various types of Rental Licenses , along with exceptions that do not require a rental license . The format allows for a question and discussion segment .
   The City of East Lansing encourages interested parties to attend this session and participate .
