   Most Trash Collection is Now Curbside .  
   City of Highland Trash and Recycle Changes Take Effect Monday , April 1 , 2024
   Effective April 1
   stresidents will need to start using Republic Services’ trash and recycle carts .
   Residents will no longer be able to place unlimited trash out for pick - up
   All trash must be placed in a Republic Services trash cart .
   Recycle items will be picked up every other week .   A recycle schedule is attached .  
   Residents will receive 4 free bulk collections per year .
   To arrange a bulk pick - up you may call Republic Services customer service at 618 - 656 - 6883
   Please review the Trash Route Map as your trash day may have changed .
