City of Globe Arts Advisory Commission Meets 2nd and 4th Fridays
The Arts Advisory Commission ( AAC ) was created by Globe City Council to advise them on ways promote , acquire , and maintain public art for the community . Established by City Council resolution in 2019 , the resolution states the AAC was “created and appointed for the specific purpose of making recommendations concerning decisions to be considered by the Globe City Council . ”
Meetings are held Twice a month ( 2nd and 4th Fridays from 10:00am to 11:30 am ) and special meetings as needed . All meetings comply with the Arizona Open Meeting laws and are held at the Globe Municipal Building and/or by Zoom conferencing .
Our mission is to support a creative community that enhances and expands public and private art of all forms to enrich the vitality , diversity , and character of our city .
Globe will be a unique city where art is alive , creativity is treasured , and the arts are embraced and nurtured in our community .
