   City of Atlanta to Open Warming Centers Ahead of Cold Weather
    
   ATLANTA
   —The City of Atlanta will open two warming centers ahead of colder temperatures . The centers will open
   Saturday , February 24 , 2024 , at 8:00 p . m . and remain open through Sunday , February 25 , 2024 , at 8:00 a . m .
   The first warming center will be located at the
   Central Park Recreation Center
   at 400 Merritts Ave . NE , Atlanta 30308 and
   will be open for men only
    .   
   The second warming center will be located at the
   Selena Butler Recreation Centerat 98 William Holmes Borders Dr . SE , Atlanta , GA 30312 and
   will be open for women and children only
    .
   Transportation will be provided by Fulton County from the Gateway Center at 8:00 pm with return transportation upon deactivation .
   Activation times are subject to change based on the updated National Weather Service forecast .
