POSITION SUMMARY:
The City of Cleveland, Texas is seeking an experienced manager to oversee 105 employees and a total estimated budget of $11+ million including grants and reserves. Current City services include Police, Fire, Parks, Cemetery, Streets, Water/Wastewater, Civic Center, Court, and Library. The City Manager is appointed by the five (5)-member City Council and the city is governed by a Home Rule Charter. The City of Cleveland is located between Houston and Livingston on US 59/I-69 about 30 miles from IAH-Airport. The estimated population is over 8,350.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduate or GED equivalent required. 10 year minimum prior experience in municipal government with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Government, Finance, or related field is required.
