Woodland Park City Council began the meeting by making appointments to City boards and committees . Eric Simonsen was appointed to the Historical Preservation Committee for a term ending in January 2024 . Susan Janicki was appointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for a term ending in January 2024 .
Council unanimously approved the 2022 Chipseal , Fogseal , and Crackseal Contract between the City of Woodland Park and A1 Chipseal for $397 , 269 . 93 . This includes work that was not completed in 2021 . You can view the contract and scope of work in the

Council unanimously approved Ordinance 1422 on initial posting and set the public hearing for June 2 , 2022 .
Council unanimously approved a transfer of a Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License for Red Diamond Gastro Truck doing business as Red Diamond Gastro Pub located at 121 West Midland Avenue , Woodland Park . Red Diamond Gastro Pub will take over the space currently know as Rhapsody on June 1 and plans to open on June 10 .
Council unanimously approved a resolution declaring a local disaster and set the expiration to June 18 . This will allow the City to receive federal funding , if necessary , to cover any expenses incurred by the City related to the High Park Fire in Teller County . View the resolution in the

Finance Director Aaron Vassalotti provided a first quarter sales tax update , which is available in the
agenda packet .
The next City Council meeting will be on June 2 , 2022 at 7pm at Woodland Park City Council Chambers or
via Zoom .
