This week in City Council
Swearing - In Ceremony and Celebration
Wednesday , January 3 | Bob Wells Plaza on Swede Alley | 4:00 p . m .
Bill Ciraco , Ryan Dickey , and Ed Parigian will be sworn - in by Mayor Nann Worel on the steps of City Hall at the Bob Wells Plaza . Jennifer Wesselhoff , President & CEO of the Park City Chamber of Commerce | Convention & Visitors Bureau , will be master of ceremonies for the event . Warm drinks and treats will be served – all are invited .

The Council will meet on
Thursday , January 4 at 3:45 p . m .
in Council Chambers at City Hall .

Main Street Outreach Discussion
City teams will present a proposed planning process for the Main Street area . As this is an opportunity to work with businesses , stakeholders , and residents , staff will seek additional direction from the Council particularly around community engagement . View agenda item

New Childcare Assistance Program Now Available
Park City has officially launched the Childcare Needs - Based Scholarship Program – providing financial assistance to qualified families to help with the cost of childcare . The initiative comes after numerous working families in Park City reported that childcare issues , such as affordability and availability , have negatively impacted their lives and employment .
The program will feature three products to help local families:
Needs - Based Childcare Tuition Scholarship for children up to kindergarten age .
Infant & Toddler Childcare Tuition Scholarship , which addresses the needs of children from infants to 3 years of age .
Regulated Childcare Providers Incentive to help support qualified caregivers .
Scholarships and childcare provider assistance will be available on a first - come , first - served basis . For program details and to sign up , go

Hop on Transit to Trails
Transit to Trails – a partnership with Utah Open Lands , Central Wasatch Commission , Mountain Trails Foundation , and Park City Municipal – will make another appearance January 4 - 7 and 11 - 14 . Book your free ride to high elevation trails

Please note: This service is dog friendly . One dog allowed per owner . For passenger and pet safety , the shuttle driver has the discretion to determine the appropriate limit of dogs on the bus .
