CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION 
    
   The Newington Highway Department will be collecting
   Christmas trees curbside the weeks of January 1st and January 8th weather permitting . Highway crews will be following the refuse collection schedule .
    
   Condominium complexes will be included in the second week of  collection ( January , 8
   th
    ) . We ask residents of condominiums to placetheir  trees next to the dumpsters for collection .
    Christmas trees should not placed inside the dumpsters .
    
   Residents also have the option to dispose of Christmas trees
   at the Transfer Station Saturdays from 9:00 a . m . to 5:00pm .
