Full Time Salary $40,000-$52,000 DOQ Full Benefits
Duties
: Provides day to day support of systems as well as upgrades and implementation of the financial system. Troubleshoot system problems; liaison with IT Department and outside software support; design custom forms and enhancements for application software and bill taxes for the County.
Requirements:
High school diploma and a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in billing and collecting local taxes. Familiarity with Maryland tax structure. A basic understanding of governmental accounting, knowledge of accounting/tax procedures. Extensive experience in menu driven accounting software. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications. Must be able to pass background and drug test.
