The Mako COVID - 19 testing site in Breckenridge will close June 30 as part of the Polis Administration’s testing transition plan; Frisco testing site will remain open

   SUMMIT COUNTY – On June 13 , 2022 , CDPHE announced that the temporary Mako COVID - 19 testing site located at Colorado Mountain College Breckenridge will close on June 30 as part of the State’s transition plan for moving COVID - 19 testing currently run through state community testing sites to traditional healthcare settings and federal programs , including the
   Test to Treat program
    . There will still be one state - run testing site , located in Frisco , which will continue to be available to the community: 
   The Mako Medical Community Testing Site in Frisco will remain intact and will continue to operate seven days a week from 9a . m . to 5 p . m . every day at the Summit County Senior and Community Center , 83 Nancy ' s Place , Frisco . Complete the
   registration form
    for a quicker process upon arrival .
   “Summit County is thankful for support from CDPHE , the Town of Breckenridge , CMC , and Mako Medical . We are fortunate to continue to have the site in Frisco as all , but 21 sites across the state are being closed , ” said Director of Summit County Public Health , Amy Wineland . “We are so very grateful that the State will continue to support a community testing site in Summit County , especially given that we are one of the most visited counties in Colorado . ”
   Testing is free of cost and widely available to individuals in Summit County and remains a critical tool in tracking and slowing the spread of the virus . Information on testing hours and locations is available at
