Residents are invited to join the Boulder County Commissioners for a Town Hall on Thursday , February 8 from 5:30 to 7 p . m . to learn about disaster preparedness in Boulder County . The Town Hall will take place in the café space at The Spoke on Coffman at 516 Coffman St . , Longmont , Colo .
Emergency Management Disaster Manager Mike Chard will provide a brief presentation on Boulder County’s hazards , emergency alerts , personal risk assessment , and how residents can best prepare for responding to a disaster . Attendees are welcome to ask any questions on this topic or other areas of concern in the county .
Spanish interpretation will be available . Please note: there will not be a virtual option for this Town Hall; however , all residents who cannot attend are always welcome to email
commissioners@bouldercounty . gov
with questions or to request materials shared at the event .
