The Building & Maintenance is accepting applications for a full-time Building & Maintenance Worker II position. 
   This position will perform work involving repairing and maintaining buildings.   Makes miscellaneous repairs and adjustments to plumbing, doors, windows, locks, docks, piers, fixtures, and sprinkler systems. Performs skilled manual labor in general cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds.
   Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM
   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
   Installs, repairs or replaces light bulbs and fixtures, door fixtures, door locks, hinges and other hardware, sidewalks and other concrete work, sinks, toilets, sand basins, sewer lines, etc. as requested.
   Makes repairs or adjustments to plumbing such as unstopping drains, replacing flush valves, replacing and repairing sinks, and replacing washers.
   Replaces air filters in various air conditioning units.
   Performs custodial duties which includes cleaning rest rooms, kitchen areas, vacuums carpets, scrubs floors, dusts, washes windows and performs other miscellaneous custodial duties associated with maintaining clean buildings and facilities.
   Empties trash containers, sweeps, and picks up litter.
   Performs general cleaning of buildings; scrubs, mops, waxes, and polishes floors; dusts and polishes furniture; washes windows, woodwork, toilets, venetian blinds, washrooms and fixtures; vacuums and cleans carpets; and other cleaning duties as directed.
   Moves office furniture and equipment as necessary. May run a variety of miscellaneous errands including, pick-up and deliveries, etc.
   Performs various painting and restoration tasks as needed.
   Perform light electrical work (switches, light changes, outlets).
   Perform light A/C, ice machine and drinking fountain work (diagnostic, filter maintenance).
   Replace and/or maintains street markings for pedestrian crossings and intersection stop bars; paints street curbs as needed.
   Performs other related duties as assigned.
   Must have a valid FL Drivers License and be able to pass a physical and drug screen.  
   Can begin work as soon as you are cleared.
