Williamson County Government Animal Control is accepting applications for a full-time Animal Control Officer. Applicants must have a valid Tennessee Drivers License and the ability to lift 50 lbs. This position will investigate complaints and respond to calls of abandoned, abused or uncontrolled animals. Capture of these animals may be required. These calls may be related to both large and small animals. Experience with animals preferred, and must have the ability to be trained in legal procedures of Animal Control. Must have good computer skills and have the ability to handle multiple tasks at once. Requires applicants have the ability to be on call after hours, weekends, and holidays as assigned to respond to calls via phone or in person.
