Exempt Management Position
Major Function and Purpose:
Under the direction of the City Administrator,
the Administrative Services Director will play a pivotal role in the efficient functioning of the city's various departments. Reporting directly to the City Administrator, this position is responsible for implementing cross-departmental projects, enhancing process efficiency, conducting departmental budget analyses assistance, and providing general support to the City Administrator and the management team. The successful candidate will bring extensive government experience, demonstrating expertise in the multifaceted aspects of daily municipal operations.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project implementation.
Excellent budget analysis and financial management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Sound decision-making abilities and the capacity to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Medical Insurance

The city pays 100% of the premium for a full time, regular employee (32 hours or more) and 90% of the premium for spouse and dependent children.
Vacation and Sick Leave Accrual
Monthly accrual all employees based upon experience.
Sick leave accrual is 8 hours per month.
Holiday Pay
The City provides eleven (12) paid holidays per year plus one (1) floating holiday of your choice – total of thirteen (13) days.
Washington State Retirement Programs
Required pension plan for all City employees.
PERS (Public Employee Retirement System) plans 2 or 3 is for all general city employees.
Life Insurance
The City pays for a $50,000 basic group life insurance policy.
