Septage Receiving Improvements consists of construction of upgrades to the septage receiving system at the Oconomowoc Wastewater Treatment Facility including construction of a new Septage Screening Building, Transfer Pump Station and Septage Storage Tank. Work includes installation of fine screening equipment, transfer pumps & septage pumping. Work includes related sitework improvements, piping modifications, HVAC system, electrical, instrumentation/controls, surface restoration and other ancillary work required to complete the improvements.

To access the electronic bid form download the project documents and click on the online bid button at the top of the bid advertisement page. Bids will ONLY be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com. Prospective bidders must be on the Planholder list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. Bid amounts must be entered into the online bidding service form and all prospective bidders shall allow themselves adequate time to access the online electronic bid service and submit their bid.

. A prebid conference will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 10 AM at the Oconomowoc Wastewater Treatment Facility, 900 S Worthington St, Oconomowoc WI. A tour of the site will follow the meeting.
Subsurface investigation reports are included in the Contract Documents. All Bidders must complete a Bidder’s Qualification Questionnaire and submit the completed form with the Bid. Contract letting shall be subject to the applicable provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes §62.15, 66.0901, 66.0903 and 779.15. In connection with the performance of work under this contract, Contractor agrees not to discriminate against any employees or applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, handicap, sex, physical condition, developmental disability, or national origin. This provision shall include but not be limited to the following: employment, upgrading, demotion, or transfer; recruitment or recruitment advertising; layoff and termination; rates of pay or other forms of compensation; selection for training, including apprenticeship. Contractor further agrees to post in conspicuous places, available for employees and applicants for employment, notices setting forth the provisions of this non-discrimination clause.
Bids shall be accompanied by a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond on the prescribed form payable to the Owner in an amount not less than 5% of the Total Lump Sum Bid as guarantee that if the Bid is accepted the Bidder will execute and file the Agreement, Performance and Payment Bonds and Insurance Certifications as required by the Contract Documents within 10 days after the Notice of Award. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall be required to furnish both a Performance Bond and Payment Bond acceptable to the City of Oconomowoc for 110% of the Contract Price for each of the above Bonds in accordance with the requirement of the Contract Documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interests of Owner. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the scheduled opening of the Bids without the consent of the Owner.
