On behalf of the men and women of the Fayetteville Police Department , I would like to welcome you to our official website .  Our goal is to provide our community with as much information as possible about their police department , and the programs and services we provide to our visitors and citizens .  It is my honor and privilege to serve as the Chief of Police and represent all the members of this department who are dedicated to professionalism , customer service , and safety .  
   Community policing is at the heart of our organization , and we are involved in a number of activities beyond responding to calls for service , traffic enforcement , and criminal investigations .  We value our community partnerships and strive to achieve the cooperation , trust , and confidence of those we serve . The Fayetteville Police Department is dedicated to reaching the highest standards of professionalism through the use of the most current policies , procedures , training and technology .  Our team works hard to maintain a level of excellence , which is exhibited by our national and state accreditation through the 
   Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies ( link is external ) ( CALEA ) and the Arkansas Law Enforcement Accreditation Program ( ALEAP ) .
