The Mequon Police Department consists of 54 staff members and two K-9 Officers that work together to preserve the peace and support the needs of the community.

Then being a part-time 911 Dispatcher is the career opportunity for you!  Your role with the Mequon Police Department will be to serve as an integral team member in providing high-quality services to the city’s constituencies and ensuring effective emergency dispatching services to Mequon residents. You will handle both emergency and non-emergency public safety communications, as well as help ensure the health, safety and welfare of the city’s public safety personnel. The city provides 16 weeks of on the job training and pays for all required certifications. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

   Requirements
    A high school diploma or GED required. Experience with ProPhoenix software is preferred.
   Benefits Available 
    The hourly range for a part-time dispatcher is $21.00 - $27.11 +/- based on experience. The city offers a competitive benefits packet that includes:

   Hours of Work
    Standard shifts are 8.25 hours a day with a lunch break and two 15 minute breaks. This position rotates between all shifts, with a minimum of two shifts per week and the ability to pick up more hours.
