   Starting February 5 , Pinellas County Public Works will temporarily close 8th Avenue SW , from Taylor Lake Park to Pinecrest Drive , for approximately 3 - 4 months . This closure is necessary for vital storm drainage improvements . The detour route for traffic will be West Bay Drive between 20th St NW and Clearwater - Largo Road .
