( PLAINVIEW , N . Y . ) - This Memorial Day weekend , Nassau County Legislator Arnold W . Drucker ( D - Plainview ) is partnering with community members and friends of 22 - year - old Plainview resident Rebecca Koltun in hosting the Rally for Rebecca 5K Walk - Run - Roll . Last year , Rebecca was paralyzed from the neck down in a tragic ski accident . All proceeds from the event will go to nonprofit

, to offset medical and living expenses not covered by Rebecca’s insurance or Medicaid .
