We are asking residents of E Irvington for feedback .
   For many years residents of sections of  E Irvington - especially those living on or near Taxter Road , have lacked cell service or had service that was horrible .  It ' s been a big problem . Lack of cell service during emergencies created stress and anxiety among residents . We ' ve tried hard to encourage providers to address this problem .  
   Recent progress!!!  Verizon has taken action to activate wireless nodes . And residents are reporting that service has improved . But , there are areas in E Irvington where service still  is not great . If you live in E Irvington or drive on streets within the E Irvington neighborhoods please advise if service has improved or is still bad .
   The Town has become aware that 3 of the 4 Verizon wireless nodes are now activated . The 4
   th
    node is anticipated to be activated soon . Please feel free to respond with your street name and update on Verizon service at your house ( poor , better/adequate , great ) to

   The Town has made representatives of the other remaining carriers aware of the system and provided information for them to co - locate . Additional outreach and updates in this regard are planned by the Town . Please note that the Town does not control the system and has no control over whether or not the other carriers participate .
