The Prairie Township Board of Trustees is accepting applications/resumes for a Nuisance Field Inspector. This position will focus on the Township's Nuisance Abatement Program, including field inspections and associated paperwork. This position will offer an hourly pay of $15.00 per hour (maximum of 1500 hours per calendar year).
The selected candidate will be expected to receive and process nuisance complaints per Prairie Township guidelines, including working in the field inspecting and posting properties, and recording their findings. The individual selected for the position must be able to keep accurate records of inspections and photographs in the department's database. In addition, must be able to produce letters, certified mailings, and title searches.
