WILLISTON , N . D . – In celebration of the end of school , along with the nice weather , the Williston Police Department annually hosts the Bike Rodeo to give children a chance to interact with Law Enforcement during a bicycle safety course . The Williston Police Department’s Bike Patrol Officer will be in attendance as well and will be interacting with the kids .  
   Open to grades K - 6 , this free event will be held from 5:00 p . m . to 7 p . m . on May 24th , 2022 at the Raymond Family Community Center . The garage door on the West side of the building will be open for access to the Bike Rodeo .  
   Participants will have the chance to enter the bicycle raffles; one for a boy and one for a girl . There will also be helmets provided to children who do not have one of their own . Some snacks , water and giveaways will be available , free of charge . Jer Bears Sno Shack will also be there so grab your shaved ice , payment required .  
   The Williston Police Department has hosted this event for many years , with the intent to teach children to use their bicycles safely while they are out enjoying the summer weather .
