Veterans Program Specialist
(AACOG)
This is a responsible, non-supervisory position. Duties include program development and training to ensure grant compliance and quality assurance; Operating and maintaining full working knowledge of the client management system software (Unite Us platform) ; Ensuring that program report submissions are prepared and submitted; Reviews subcontractor and in-house data submissions for completeness and accuracy; Communicating with technical support and Program funders as needed; Notifying Director, Manager of Military Veterans and Affairs, and Lead Veteran Program Coordinator of operational concerns with reporting; Ensuring that subcontractors and in-house program staff are trained to operate the client data management system, including arranging for training from outside entities and; Serving as a resource for trouble-shooting with subcontractors and in-house program staff as needed.
Prefer a
Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, accounting, or a related field, plus at least one (1) year of responsible administrative experience, preferably in Military and Veterans Affairs or other Human Services programs or; High school graduate or its equivalent, plus at least four (4) years’ of increasingly responsible administrative experience, preferably in a human services program.
This position is a Pay Grade 10, with a starting hourly rate of $18.22. This is a non-exempt position.
