   The City of Kearney Public Works Department and Roeder Concrete announce that beginning Friday , May 6 , 2022 , 48st Street will be closed between Avenue L and Avenue N for utility construction . Work will include partial roadway removal/replacement and sanitary sewer improvements . Residents living within the closed block will have access from the west at Avenue L . Citizens driving in the area are urged to use extreme caution .
