   TRAFFIC ALERT: May 3 , 2022 — 9th/Avon Street has been reduced to one lane with flagging in the vicinity of the 9th/Avon/Garrett/Levy intersection . Unsuitable soil was discovered during the placement of a new sanitary sewer mainline . Crews are on - site placing a segment of pipe in this area and will be backfilling as soon as possible . 9th/Avon Street has been reduced to one lane to ensure the safety of the workers as well as traveling public . It is not expected that 9th/Avon Street will be reduced to one lane tomorrow , May 4th .
