Babylon New York - Town Recognizes Young Resident Who Helps Clean Local Park 07 June 2022 ( news )

   The Town of Babylon proudly recognizes 5 - year - old AJ Rosales for his commitment to continuously cleaning up West Babylon’s Scott Park ( Police Officer Dirk Wrede Park ) and caring for our environment .
   Every Tuesday when AJ stays with his grandmother , he loads up his quad and the two take a trip to Scott Park . Along the way , AJ stops to clean up any litter he sees . He then goes on to clean the park . Supervisor Rich Schaffer , Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and Councilmen Terence McSweeney and DuWayne Gregory were honored to recently join AJ at the park and present him with a certificate of special recognition on behalf of the town .
   We thank AJ for his dedication and commitment to our community . We know he has a very bright future ahead of him .
