The Tennant Lake Boardwalk trail is now open , with the exception of a small section at the farthest lookout that remains closed due to damage from the November 2021 flood event . If you plan to walk the trail , you will not be able to complete the loop due to the damaged section . Please do not attempt to pass trail blockades .
    
   Repairing the Boardwalk Trail has been a coordinated effort between Whatcom County Parks and the Department of Fish and Wildlife and is ongoing .
