Pahrump resident Mark F . Kampf was appointed Monday as temporary County Treasurer during an emergency meeting of the Board of County Commissioners .  
   The term is through the canvassing of the June 14th Primary Election votes . Kampf took the Oath of Office at the County Clerk ' s Office and took office immediately .

   three people
   who submitted their names for consideration .  
   Former Treasurer John Prudhont resigned Saturday , effective immediately , in an email to the Commissioners and County Administration .
