The Construction Project Manager Position is an “at will” position, temporary in nature, and scheduled to terminate at project completion. The anticipated completion date is expected to be January of 2025. This position does receive full benefits.
The Temporary Construction Project Manager is assigned to oversee the City’s public works projects funded by the American Rescue Plan Act and other capital infrastructure projects to ensure that all project and program goals are met. The Project Manager will also assist other City departments with preparation of design documents, environmental processes, bidding, and construction of capital infrastructure projects and programs.
The person in this position will organize, direct, and supervise the design, permitting, bidding, construction, and commissioning of the City’s capital infrastructure projects. The Project Manager has responsibility for all aspects of the capital infrastructure projects and will be expected to work closely with the City’s design professionals and successful contractors to complete the projects on time and within budget.
