   Nonprofit agencies invited to apply for Avondale’s Contributions Assistance Program
   The City of Avondale’s Contributions Assistance Program will accept applications beginning Tuesday , April 19 , 2022 .
   The Contributions Assistance Program provides direct monetary grants to nonprofit organizations for projects and activities that provide health and human services to improve the quality of life of Avondale residents . Nonprofit 501 ( C ) ( 3 ) agencies that meet the following eligibility criteria are invited to apply .
   Eligibility Criteria:
   •Applicants must provide direct services which address the health and welfare of Avondale residents with a preference for services provided in Avondale .
   •Applicants that received previous funding must be current in their reporting . Timely and accurate reporting will be taken into consideration .
   •Applicants must demonstrate the ability to generate revenue from other sources .
   •Maximum amount of an award will not exceed $20 , 000 .

    . One electronic copy of the application and required attachments must be submitted no later than 5 p . m . on Thursday , May 19 , 2022 .    Late applications will not be accepted .
