TAX COLLECTOR
– HOWELL TOWNSHIP, MONMOUTH COUNTY is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time Tax Collector/Sewer Utility Collector position. The Township has roughly 23,000 taxable line items as well as 6,000 billable sewer properties. The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of all aspects of the tax collection office as well as outstanding customer service and oral and written communication skills. Strong supervisory skills are a must. The candidate must possess a current Certified Tax Collector’s Certificate issued by the DCA; knowledge of Edmunds software a plus. Salary is DOQ plus full benefits package. The Township reserves the right to interview and hire prior to deadline.
