Work continues on the System - Wide Sewer Rehabilitation project in Winston - Salem . The following streets in Phase 4 will be closed to through traffic weekdays starting Monday , May 23 , from 9 a . m . to 4 p . m .
   • Buena Vista Road between Virginia and Hawthorne roads
   • Virginia Road between Carolina Circle and Buena Vista Road
   • Warwick Road between Arbor and Stratford roads
   Only portions will be closed at any given time and lane closures will be used in lieu of road closures when possible . Work is expected to be completed by Friday , May 27 . The contractor will post detours and motorists are encouraged to plan for alternate routes .
