☷ Springfield Tennessee - Springfield Sewer Rehabilitation Project to begin construction on 5th Avenue

   Starting on Monday , April 11 , Springfield Water and Wastewater Department will begin work on crossing 5th Avenue ( Highway 49 West ) for the Sewer Rehabilitation Project .  
   This project will result in nightly lane closures of 5th Avenue between the hours of 9:00 P . M . and 5:00 A . M . with a potential for noisy construction at times .  
   The work is expected to be completed in 1 - 2 weeks , weather dependent .  The affected area includes the section of 5th Avenue between Connell Street and 7th Avenue West . Traffic will be reduced to one lane , with flagger control .
