   Minnetonka residents can drop - off unwanted furniture , scrap metal and more at the Special Community Drop - off Event at the 
   Minnetonka Public Works
    . The event runs from 8 a . m . - 3 p . m . on June 4 . A list of accepted materials and pricing guide is available at 
   minnetonkamn . gov/dropoffday .
    Payments can be made with cash or check .
   Please note: many residents choose to line up early for this event . For shorter wait times , plan to come later in the day .
