Blacksburg Virginia - Southgate Drive Closure May 31 – June 1 25 May 2022 ( news )

   On Tuesday , May 31 beginning at 9am
   Southgate Drive will be closed to through traffic between Edgewood Drive and Airport Road
    . Public Works crews will be performing road surface repairs in advance of paving Southgate Drive later this spring/summer . Work will be conducted between the hours of 9am - 4pm and should be completed on Wednesday , June 1 , weather permitting . Detours will be in place and motorists should drive cautiously when travelling through this intersection and the detour .
