Assists Golf Course Superintendent in various maintenance and/or construction tasks at the Golf Course including greens, tee boxes, fairways, sand bunkers, and the practice facilities, etc.
Provides lead supervision to part-time staff on assigned projects and in the absence of the Golf Course Superintendent. Is available to employees he/she supervises. Encourages input and regular communication. Provides direction. Assists with tasks whenever necessary.
Mows, weeds, cultivates, renovates, plants, trims, prunes, removes snow and trash and applies herbicides, fungicides and pesticides safely throughout the Golf Course.
Operates small and heavy equipment.
Performs skilled and unskilled construction and maintenance tasks including the repair of shelters, bathrooms, fences, and other related golf equipment and facilities.
Performs a variety of skilled duties in the installation, maintenance, monitoring and repair of the golf course irrigation system.
Performs other duties as assigned.
