Senior Engineering Tech
The City of Andover, MN (pop. 30,000+) is accepting applications for the position of full-time Senior Engineering Technician. The position is responsible for assisting the Director of Public Works/City Engineer and Assistant City Engineer in reviewing, planning, organizing and implementing engineering related projects and tasks and provide technical expertise for municipal engineering and public works projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have graduated or received a certificate of completion from an accredited vocational trade school with courses in mathematics, engineering, drafting and surveying, and construction inspection.
Ten years’ experience as an Engineering Technician at minimum of an intermediate level.
Ability to obtain MnDOT certifications for applicable topics within one year of hire.
Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
Salary range: $76,063-$93,547 annually
