TITLE:
SENIOR ACCOUNT CLERK (FULL TIME)
LOCATION:

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Township Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, maintains utility billing program including maintaining accounts, billings, and customer inquiries. Maintains records of various special assessments including calculating payoffs, verifying lot splits, balancing quarterly with the Accounting Department. Maintains the delinquent personal property program for the township including collecting the delinquencies through the District Court. Calculates collections payouts of delinquent personal property taxes to various entities including the DDA. Prepares daily deposits for the bank and performs related bookkeeping and recordkeeping functions of the office as needed or directed.
EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Possession of a High School diploma or equivalent plus additional college-level course work in accounting, data processing, general business or related areas.
Experience:
Two years of progressively more experience in general accounting, assessments, billing and receipting or related area. Must be bondable.
PROBATIONARY PERIOD:
12 Months
2022 SALARY RANGE:
(Pay Grade 6) $21.68 - $26.02

May 9, 2022
HOURS TO BE WORKED:
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. - Monday - Friday
